Disc Brake System: Testing and Inspection

Brake Discs, Pads, Drums and Shoes Inspection Brake discs and pads
1. Remove wheel and caliper but don't disconnect brake hose from caliper.
2. Check front disc brake pads and discs for excessive wear, damage and deflection. Replace parts as necessary.
Be sure to torque caliper pin bolts to specification.

NOTE: If noise is heard from front brake when brake pedal is depressed, check brake pad lining for wear. If it is worn, both right and left brake pads should be replaced with new ones.
