Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

DUAL PRESSURE SWITCH

COMPONENT FUNCTIONS
A control switch to stop further rotation of the compressor by turning OFF the electric circuits of the magnetic clutch and condenser cooling fan when the cycling refrigerant is abnormally dropped or risen in pressure.

CONTROL COMPONENT FUNCTIONS
This switch sends A/C cut signal to A/C amplifier when the cycling refrigerant pressure drops due to refrigerant leakage, its amount being too little or too much.
The switch is installed at the receiver dryer.
