Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

DUAL PRESSURE SWITCH




This vehicle is equipped with switch which operates according to high or low pressure.

INSPECTION




1. Check switches for continuity at normal temperature (approx.25 °C, 77 °F) when A/C system has a proper charge of refrigerant and when A/C system (compressor) is under operation. In each of these cases, switches should show proper continuity.
2. When pressure is following specified pressure, switch should show no continuity.
