Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT SENSOR)

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
2. Disconnect IAT sensor coupler.
3. Remove IAT sensor from air cleaner outlet hose.

INSTALLATION
Reverse removal procedure nothing the following.
- Clean mating surface of IAT sensor and air cleaner outlet hose.
- Connect sensor coupler securely.
