Exhaust Gas Recirculation: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2. Disconnect EGR valve coupler.
3. Remove EGR valve and gasket from intake manifold.

INSTALLATION

Reserve removal procedure noting the following.
- Clean mating surface of valve and intake manifold.
- Use new gasket.
