Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) Inspection

CAUTION: Do not connect a tester whatever type it may be. Never repair or disassemble SDM. If SDM was dropped from a height of 91.4 cm (3 ft) or more, it should be replaced.

1. Check SDM and SDM bracket for dents, cracks or deformation.
2. Check SDM connector for damage cracks or lock mechanism.
3. Check SDM terminal for bend, corrosion or rust.
If any faulty condition is found in above checks, replace.
