Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

IGNITION (MAIN) SWITCH

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
2. Disable air bag system.
3. Remove steering column.
And then remove steering lock/main switch from steering column.

INSTALLATION
1. Install steering lock/main switch and steering column.
2. Enable air bag system.

NOTE: When installing steering column, special care must be used for tightening sequence and each torque.
