Front Door Glass Removal and InstallationFront Door Glass Components:
Removal
1. Remove window regulator handle (2) (if equipped).
For its removal, pull off snap by using a cloth (1) as shown in the figure.
2. Remove door mirror garnish (1), clips (2), and door trim mounting screw (3).
3. Remove inside handle assembly mounting screw, and remove inside handle assembly (5) from door trim by sliding it forward.
4. Remove door trim (4).
5. Disconnect power window switch coupler (if equipped).
6. Remove door grip stay.
7. Remove door sealing cover.
8. Remove glass bottom channel attaching screws (2).
9. Take out door glass together with bottom channel (1).
10. Detach glass from bottom channel.
Installation
Reverse the removal sequence to install door glass noting the following points:
1. When installing glass to bottom channel, coat channel with soap water and tap it with a plastic hammer. Glass-fitted position of bottom channel (1) is as shown in the figure.
Length for glass-fitted position of bottom channel
"a": 232-236 mm (9.15 - 9.25 in.)
2. Adjust equalizer of window regulator so that measurements A and B in the figure are equal to each other.
3. Securely seal door sealing cover (1) with adhesive.
4. Install door window regulator handle so that it has a 45 degrees angle when glass is fully closed, as illustrated.
