Sliding Roof Disassembly And AssemblyDisassembly
1. Remove sunshade trim stopper.
2. Pull out sunshade trim by sliding it.
3. Remove roof drip rear channel (1) by pushing claw as shown in the figure.
4. Remove sliding roof drive gear assembly and control relay.
5. Move link rearward while folding it in such way that resin part of sliding roof drive cable will pass through rail.
CAUTION: When moving it, apply force to arrow marked part (where sliding roof drive cable is installed).
6. Remove sliding roof deflector (1).
7. Remove sliding roof housing panel.
8. Remove sliding roof guide rail stopper.
9. Pull off sliding roof drive cable from the back.
Assembly
Reverse disassembly procedure for assembly, observing the following instructions.
CAUTION: Match protrusion (2) of link and dent (1) in bracket for completely closed position of sliding roof drive cable and match marks (4) on cams for completely closed position of sliding roof drive gear assembly and then install sliding roof drive gear assembly.
