Headlamp: Adjustments

HEADLIGHT AIMING WITH SCREEN






NOTE: Unless otherwise obligated by local regulations, adjust headlight aiming according to following procedure.

Before adjustment, make sure the following.
1. Place vehicle on a flat surface and blank wall 10 m (32.8 ft) ahead of headlight surface.
2. Adjust air pressure of all tires to a specified value respectively.
3. Move vehicle body up and down by hand.
4. Carry out with one driver (68 kg, 150 lb) aboard.

Adjustment
1. Check to see if hot spot (high intensity zone) of each main (low) beam axis falls as illustrated.
Clearance "H": Approx. 70 mm (2.75 in.)
2. If headlight aiming is not set properly, align it to specification by adjusting aiming gear.
