Air Conditioning Switch: Testing and Inspection

Mode Control Switch




- Check if continuity exists between each pair of terminals listed when mode control button is pressed.
- With battery voltage (+) connected to terminal "I" and (-) to terminal "F", press each mode control button and check if indicator lamp lights.
- With battery voltage (+) connected to terminal "H" and (-) to terminal "A", check if illumination lamp lights.

A/C Switch (if equipped)
- Press A/C button and check if there is continuity between terminals "D" and "G".
- With battery voltage (+) connected to terminal "D" and (-) to terminal "K", press A/C button and check if indicator lamp lights.
