Variable Induction Control Solenoid: Service and Repair
VIS Solenoid Removal And InstallationVIS Solenoid Removal 1.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2.
Disconnect the VIS solenoid connector.
3.
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the VIS solenoid.
4.
Remove the VIS solenoid.

Installation should follow the removal procedure in the reverse order.
