EVAP Leak Check Module Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Remove EVAP canister and EVAP leak check module as an assembly.
2. Remove EVAP leak check module (1) from EVAP canister (2).






Installation

For installation, reverse removal procedure noting the following.
- Apply gasoline to O-ring of EVAP leak check module.
- Tighten EVAP leak check module bolts to specified torque.

Tightening torque
EVAP leak check module bolt (a): 5.5 N.m (0.55 kg-m, 4.0 lbf-ft)

- Install EVAP canister and EVAP leak check module as an assembly.
