Fuel Pump On-Vehicle Inspection

1. Remove fuel filler cap and push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
2. Check fuel pump operating sound should be heard from fuel filler (1) for about 2 seconds.
If check result is not satisfactory, go to Fuel Pump and Its Circuit Check. Fuel Pump and Its Circuit Check

NOTE: Be sure to reinstall fuel filler cap after checking.
