Front Bumper: Removal and Installation

Steel Bumper





Removal

1. Remove radiator grille. Refer to [Front Grille: Removal and Installation].
2. Remove front valance LH, center, then RH.
3. Disconnect front valance lower from engine undercover.
4. Remove front bumper stays LH and RH.
5. Disconnect fog lamp harnesses, if equipped.
6. Remove front bumper reinforcement stays RH and LH.
7. Disconnect front fender protector and front bumper upper valance from fender.
8. Disconnect front bumper upper valance from front bumper bracket center.
9. Remove front bumper assembly.

Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.





Plastic Bumper





Removal

1. Remove front grille. Refer to [Front Grille: Removal and Installation].
2. Remove front valance LH, center, then RH.
3. Disconnect front portion of front fender protectors LH and RH. Refer to [Front Fender Protector: Removal and Installation].
4. Disconnect front bumper bracket center and front fenders.
5. Disconnect fog lamp harnesses, if equipped.
6. Remove front bumper assembly.

Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
