Ignition Coil

Primary Coil Testing:

1. Remove distributor cap and distributor rotor.

2. Connect one end of an ohmmeter to the (-) side of the ignition coil. Connect the other end to the (+) side of the ignition coil.

Primary Resistance (Cold): 1.2 - 1.5 ohms

3. If primary coil resistance value is not within specifications, replace ignition coil.
