DTC C1226/26 - SPC Solenoid Circuit
DTC C1227/27 - SRC Solenoid Circuit
DTC C1228/28 - STR Solenoid Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The solenoid goes on when signals are received from the skid control ECU and controls the pressure action on the wheel cylinders thus controlling the braking force.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE: When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration Programming and Relearning.
PROCEDURE
1. RECONFIRM DTC
HINT: These DTCs are set when a problem is identified in the master cylinder solenoid.
The solenoid circuit is in the master cylinder solenoid.
Therefore, solenoid circuit inspection and solenoid unit inspection cannot be performed. Be sure to check if the DTCs are output before replacing the master cylinder solenoid.
(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Check if the same DTCs are detected.
Result:
B -- END
A -- REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID
