DTC C1337/37 - Different Diameter Tire Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU measures the speed of each wheel by receiving signals from the speed sensors. These signals are used for recognizing whether all 4 wheels are operating properly. Therefore, all wheel signals must be equal.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE: When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration Programming and Relearning.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC
(a) Check if the DTC(s) relating to the speed sensor circuit is output Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
Result:






B -- REPAIR SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT
A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK TIRE SIZE
(a) Check tire size and condition of all 4 wheels.
OK:
All 4 wheels are the same size and in the same condition.
NG -- REPLACE TIRES SO THAT ALL 4 TIRES ARE SAME IN SIZE
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. RECONFIRM DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Drive the vehicle at more than 13 mph (20 km/h) for more than 60 seconds.
(c) Check if the same DTC is detected Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
