DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST

1. DATA LIST
HINT: According to the Data List displayed on a Techstream, you can read the values of components, such as the switches, sensors and actuators, without removing any parts. Reading the Data List as a first step of troubleshooting is one method of shortening labor time.
NOTE: In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are for reference only. Do not depend solely on these reference values when judging whether a part is faulty or not.

(g) According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

2. ACTIVE TEST
HINT: Performing the Active Test using a Techstream allows components, such as the relay, VSV, and actuator, to be operated without removing any parts. Performing the Active Test as a first step of troubleshooting is one method of shortening labor time.
It is possible to display the Data List during the Active Test.

(a) Warm up the engine.
(b) Turn the ignition switch off.
(c) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(g) According to the display on the Techstream, perform the Active Test.

*: Active the Solenoid (SLT) in the Active Test is performed to check the line pressure changes by connecting SST to the automatic transmission, which is used in the HYDRAULIC TEST Hydraulic Test as well. Please note that the pressure values in the Active Test and HYDRAULIC TEST are different.
HINT: The pressure values in Active Test and HYDRAULIC TEST are different from each other.
