DTC C1370/73 - Engine or Transmission System Matching Error

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is set by the skid control ECU when the ECM is replaced with one that has different engine and transmission information than the information stored in the skid control ECU.
This DTC is also set when the VSC actuator assembly (skid control ECU) is replaced with one that has different engine and transmission information than the information stored in the ECM.





HINT: If this DTC is output, clear the zero point calibration data and enter test mode Test Mode Procedure. The system returns to normal when the correct data is received from the ECM.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTE: When replacing the VSC actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration Programming and Relearning.

PROCEDURE

1. REPLACE ECM
(a) Replace the ECM for 2UZ-FE Removal, 3UR-FE Removal or 3UR-FBE Removal.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. RECONFIRM DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Check if the same DTC is output Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
