Driver Side Power Window Auto Up / Down Function does not Operate with Power Window Master Switch

DESCRIPTION

- If the AUTO UP/DOWN function does not operate, the cause may be one or more of the following:
- The ECU in the power window regulator motor determines that the power window regulator motor has not been initialized.
- The master switch has a malfunction.
- The Hall-IC in the driver side power window regulator motor has a malfunction.
- The wiring between the master switch and the driver side power window regulator motor is open or short.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC
(a) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

E -- GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
D -- GO TO DTC (B2313)
C -- GO TO DTC (B2312)
B -- GO TO DTC (B2311)
A -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION
(a) Check that the manual UP/DOWN function using the multiplex network master switch can operate the driver side power window Operation Check
OK:
Manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.

NG -- GO TO OTHER FLOW CHART (DRIVER SIDE POWER WINDOW MOTOR CIRCUIT)
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Master Switch / Data List.
(e) According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

Master Switch





OK:
The Techstream display changes normally when master switch is operated.

NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH
