This circuit provides power to the stereo component amplifier.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSE (AMP, ACC)
(a) Disconnect the AMP fuse from the engine room junction block.
(b) Disconnect the ACC fuse from the main body ECU.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AMPLIFIER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)




(a) Disconnect the K16, K15 and K17 amplifier connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
