Low vibration and Low Noise Body1. General
Effective application of vibration damping and noise suppressing materials reduce engine and road noise.
2. Body Mounts
Using the following structures, rigidity at the installation area of the body mounts is increased to reduce vibration that is transmitted to the body.
^ No.2 body mounts are located directly under the dash panel and use flanged collars.
^ No.3 body mounts are located directly under the back panel, they use flanged collars, and the attaching surfaces are minimized.
3. Under Body
^ Floor cross members and longitudinal members are optimally arranged to reduce floor vibration.
^ A damping coating is used to the reduction of the weight, noise, and vibration.
4. Dash Panel
A sound-absorbing type insulator is used as the dash insulator to reduce engine noise transmitted to the cabin.
