Reassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type): REASSEMBLY

REASSEMBLY
CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE RH





2. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU
(a) Attach the claw to install the ECU.
(b) Connect the 2 ECU connectors.





3. INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH
(a) Attach the claw to install the cushion shield.
4. INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Attach the claw to install the cushion shield.





5. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
(a) Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster inside cover.
(b) Install the screw.
6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
(a) Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster inside cover.
(b) Install the screw.





7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover with the screw.
8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover with the screw.
9. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER RH





(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.
NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.





(b) Connect the seatback cover bracket to the seatback pad.





(c) Install the seatback cover wires.
(d) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seatback pad.
10. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH
(a) Install the seatback cover with pad to the seatback spring.





(b) Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.





(c) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seatback spring.





(d) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seatback spring.





(e) Connect the seatback cover bracket to the seatback spring and install the nut.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
CAUTION: After the seatback trim cover is assembled, make sure the side airbag strap is not twisted.

(f) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seatback cover.





11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER RH
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the hinge cover.
12. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER LH
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the hinge cover.





13. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Install the seatback lock with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)





14. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK HANDLE ROD
(a) Install the seatback lock handle rod.
NOTE: Install the rod as shown in the illustration.





15. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the seatback lock with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
NOTE: Connect the rod and seatback lock before installing the bolts.





16. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD
(a) Attach the 2 hooks to install the seatback board, and then attach the 2 clips.
17. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Install the seatback with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)





(b) Connect the airbag wire harness to the seat frame.
18. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD RH





(a) Connect the airbag wire harness to the seatback shield.





(b) Attach the 2 claws to install the seatback shield.
(c) Install the screw.
19. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD LH
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the seatback shield.
(b) Install the screw.





20. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK HANDLE RH
21. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK HANDLE LH
22. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH





23. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER RH
(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.
NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

24. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD RH





(a) Attach the hooks to install the seat cushion cover with pad.
(b) Bend the 2 seat frame claws downward.





(c) Install the 2 clips.
25. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH Installation





26. INSTALL INNER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH
(a) Attach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and install the cushion shield.
(b) Install the screw.
27. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH





(a) Attach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and install the cushion shield.
(b) Install the 2 screws.





(c) Using hog ring pliers, install the rubber band of the seatback cover to the seat frame with new hog rings.





28. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH
(a) Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle.
