SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): REASSEMBLY

REASSEMBLY
CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE LH
2. INSTALL SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR Installation





3. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)
(a) Attach the claw to install the ECU.
(b) Connect the 2 ECU connectors.
4. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Lumbar Support Adjuster)





(a) Attach the 3 claws to install the bush.





(b) Install the lumbar support adjuster with the 2 screws.
(c) Connect the lumbar support adjuster connector.





(d) Attach the 6 hooks to install the seatback spring.
(e) Install the 2 springs.





5. INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH
(a) Attach the claw to install the cushion shield lower.
6. INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Attach the claw to install the cushion shield lower.





7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
(a) Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster inside cover.
(b) Install the screw.
8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
(a) Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster inside cover.
(b) Install the screw.





9. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover with the screw.
10. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover with the screw.
11. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER LH





(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.
NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.





(b) Connect the seatback cover bracket to the seatback pad.





(c) Install the seatback cover wires.
(d) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seatback pad.
12. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH
(a) Install the seatback cover with pad to the seatback frame.





(b) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seat frame.





(c) Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.





(d) Connect the seatback cover bracket to the seat frame and install the nut.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
CAUTION: After the seatback trim cover is assembled, make sure the side airbag strap is not twisted.





(e) Install the seatback cover wires.
(f) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings to the seat frame.





(g) Attach the hook.
13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH





14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH
(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.
NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD LH





(a) Attach the hooks to install the seat cushion cover with pad.
(b) Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.
(c) Bend the 2 seat frame claws downward.





(d) Install the 2 clips.
16. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Installation





17. INSTALL INNER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Attach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and install the cushion shield.
(b) Install the screw.
18. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT LUMBAR SWITCH (w/ Lumbar Support Adjuster)
(a) Install the switch with the 2 screws.
19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH





(a) w/ Lumbar Support Adjuster:
Connect the switch connector.
(b) Attach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and install the cushion shield.
(c) Install the 2 screws.





(d) Using hog ring pliers, install the rubber band of the seatback cover to the seat frame with new hog rings.





20. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH
(a) Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle.
21. INSTALL VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB LH (for 8 Way Seat Type)
(a) Install the snap ring to the vertical seat adjuster knob.





(b) Install the vertical seat adjuster knob to the front seat.
22. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH (for 8 Way Seat Type)





(a) Install the vertical adjusting handle with the 2 screws.





(b) Attach the 2 claws to install the vertical adjusting handle cap.
