Reassembly
SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): REASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
1. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT WIRE
(a) Attach the 2 clamps to install the seat wire.
(b) for Driver Side:
Connect the 2 connectors.
(c) for Front Passenger Side:
Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD
(a) Install the seatback pad.
3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER
(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.
NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
(b) Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.
(c) Connect the seatback cover bracket to the seatback pad.
(d) Install the seatback cover bracket to the seat frame with the nut.
Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
NOTICE:
After the seatback trim cover is assembled, make sure the side airbag strap is not twisted.
(e) Close the 2 fasteners, and then close the seatback cover.
(f) Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.
4. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
(a) Attach the guide to install the cover.
5. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
(a) Attach the guide to install the cover.
6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE LH
(a) Install the seat wire.
7. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)
(a) Attach the claw to install the ECU.
(b) Connect the 2 connectors.
8. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System) Installation
9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH
(a) Move the protector in the direction of the arrow to attach the hook and install the protector.
(b) Install the screw.
10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH
HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Attach the hook and clip to install the cushion shield.
(b) Install the screw.
12. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH
(a) Attach the hook and clip to install the cushion shield.
(b) Install the screw.
13. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
(a) Attach the claw and guide to install the cover.
14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER
(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.
NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
15. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD
(a) Install the seat cushion cover with pad.
(b) w/ Seat Heater System:
Connect the seat heater connector and attach the 3 wire harness clamps.
(c) Attach the hooks.
16. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LEG COVER LH
(a) Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to install the cover.
(b) Attach the 2 claws.
17. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP
(a) Install the 2 caps.
18. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the seatback assembly with the 4 bolts.
Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
(b) Connect the airbag wire harness.
(c) Attach the fastening tape to close the cover.
(d) Attach the 3 airbag wire harness clamps.
(e) Attach the claw to connect the airbag connector.
(f) Attach the 2 hooks.
(g) Attach the clamp to connect the No. 2 seat wire.
(h) w/ Seat Heater System:
Connect the seat heater connector and attach the wire harness clamp.
(i) Install the rubber band to the seat cushion spring.
19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Installation
20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Attach the 3 claws to install the cushion shield.
21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Front Passenger Side)
(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the cushion shield.
22. INSTALL FRONT SEAT NO. 1 INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the cushion shield.
23. INSTALL LUMBAR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) Installation
24. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH Installation
25. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Attach the 3 wire harness clamps and connect the seat wire connector.
(b) Attach the 3 claws to close the wire harness cover.
(c) Remove the clip attached to the seat cushion spring and install it to the cushion shield.
(d) Attach the 2 clips, 3 claws and guide.
(e) Attach the guide of the front seat No. 1 inner cushion shield and install the screw.
(f) Connect the lifter motor connector.
26. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the knob.
27. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the knob.
