Front Seat Assembly (for Power Seat)

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY

(a) for Driver Side:





(1) Check the operation of the front seat cushion spring (slide motor).

Check that the front seat cushion spring moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the slide motor connector terminals.

OK:





(2) If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion spring assembly.









(3) Check the operation of the front seat cushion spring (front vertical motor).

Check that the front seat cushion spring moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the front vertical motor connector terminals.

OK:





(4) If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion spring assembly.









(5) Check the operation of the front seat cushion spring (lifter motor).

Check that the front seat cushion spring moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the lifter motor connector terminals.

OK:





(6) If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion spring assembly.





(b) for Front Passenger Side:





(1) Check the operation of the front seat cushion spring (slide motor).

Check that the front seat cushion spring moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the slide motor connector terminals.

OK:





(2) If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion spring assembly.





2. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

(a) for Driver Side:





(1) Check the operation of the front seatback (reclining motor).

Check that the front seatback moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the reclining motor connector terminals.

OK:





(2) If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback assembly.









(3) Check the operation of the front seatback (lumbar motor).

Check that the front seatback moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the lumbar motor connector terminals.

OK:





(4) If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback assembly.





(b) for Front Passenger Side:





(1) Check the operation of the front seatback (reclining motor).

Check that the front seatback moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the reclining motor connector terminals.

OK:





(2) If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback assembly.
