Wiper Signal Circuit

CRUISE CONTROL: DYNAMIC LASER CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM: Wiper Signal Circuit
- Wiper Signal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The distance control ECU detects wiper operation. If the windshield wipers operate in the HI or LO mode, the cruise control is canceled and the warning sound "pong" is emitted once. In addition, the following warnings will continue until the cruise control main switch is turned off:

* The CRUISE main indicator light blinks.

* The master warning light illuminates.

* The warning code "E2" is displayed on the display in the combination meter.

After HI or LO wiper operation stops, pushing the cruise control main switch to + (ACCEL)/RES (RESUME) will resume the vehicle speed set prior to cancellation.

Cruise control is available when the windshield wipers operate in the intermittent mode.
