Compressor Clutch: Testing and Inspection

1. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance of stator coil.
2. Using a thermometer, measure ambient temperature.
3. Ohmmeter reading at 68 deg. F should be 3.55 to 3.95 ohms.
4. If ohmmeter reading is not within the specified range replace magnetic clutch.
