Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and discharge system refrigerant.
2. Remove front grille.
3. Disconnect refrigerant lines at condenser, capping all openings.
4. Disconnect electrical connector at condenser fan motor.
5. Remove four condenser attaching bolts and the condenser.
6. Remove four bolts attaching fan assembly to condenser assembly and separate assemblies.
7. Reverse procedure to install, then evacuate and discharge system and check for leaks.

NOTE: If condenser is replaced, add 1.4-1.7 oz. of new refrigerant oil to compressor.
