Expansion Valve: Service and Repair

Fig. 4 Removing Heat Insulator And Clamp.:

1. Remove evaporator core, refer to "EVAPORATOR."
2. Remove heat insulator and clamp from outlet tube of evaporator, Fig. 4.
3. Disconnect refrigerant line from expansion valve inlet fitting.
4. Disconnect refrigerant line from evaporator core inlet fitting and remove expansion valve.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
