Throttle Position Sensor: Adjustments

1. Loosen the two screws of the sensor.






2. Insert a 0.75mm (0.0295 in) thickness gauge between the throttle stop screw and lever then conect the ohmmeter to terminals IDL and E1.
3. Gradually turn the sensor counterclockwise until the ohmmeter deflects. Secure the sensor with the two mount screws.






4. Using a thickness gauge, recheck the continuity between terminsals IDL and E1.
5. Readjust as necessary.
