INSPECTION OF TORQUE CONVERTER1. INSERT SST IN END OF TORQUE CONVERTER
a. Insert a turning tool into the inner race of the one-way clutch.
SST 09350 - 30020 (09351 - 32010)

SST 09350 - 30020 (09351 - 32020)
2. TEST ONE-WAY CLUTCH
The clutch should lock when turned counterclockwise, and rotate freely and smoothly clockwise. Less than 25 kg.cm (22 in.lb, 2.5 N.m) of torque should be required to rotate the clutch clockwise. If necessary, clean the converter and retest the clutch. Replace the converter if the clutch still fails the test.
