INSPECTION OF EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR





MEASURE RESISTANCE OF EGR GAS TEMP. SENSOR
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals.

Resistance:
69.40 - 88.50 k ohms at 50°C (l22°F)
11.89 - 14.37 k ohms at 100°C (212°F)
2.79 - 3.59 k ohms at 150°C (302°F)

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
