Sensor Operational Test

Ts Connector:

1. With the Ts connector terminals connected, drive the vehicle ahead slowly, about 6-12 mph, and depress the brake pedal.
2. Check that the warning light does not change pattern.
3. Now increase the vehicle speed to about 12 mph and depress the brake pedal with moderate pressure.

Warning Light Pattern:

4. Check that while braking the warning light turns on.
5. Increase vehicle speed to above 12 mph and forcefully depress the brake pedal.
6. Check that the warning light pattern changes as in the lower warning light pattern image.
7. If the warning light does not operate as described above, check the deceleration sensor installation. If OK replace the sensor.
