Oil Charge

No provision is made for checking oil level. Oil is added according to component(s) being replaced.


1. Drain and measure amount of oil present in old compressor. Add same amount plus .7 ounce to new compressor.
2. When replacing other components, add the following amounts of oil to system:
a. Condenser: 1.4 - 1.7 ounces
b. Evaporator: 1.4 - 1.7 ounces
c. Receiver/drier: 0.7 ounce
