Toe-In

1. Rock vehicle up and down to stabilize suspension.
2. Move vehicle forward approximately 16.4 ft. (5 meters) with front wheel in straight ahead position on a level surface. If vehicle was backed up, move it forward the same distance.
3. Mark center of each rear tread and measure the distance between marks.
4. Move vehicle forward until marks on rear sides of tires come to the measuring heights of the gauge on the front side. If tire rolls too far, repeat step 2.
5. Measure distance between marks on front of tires.
6. If toe-in is not to specification, adjust as follows:
a. Loosen clamp bolts or locknuts, whichever vehicle is equipped with.
b. Turn left and right adjusting tubes an equal amount.
c. Ensure lengths of left and right adjusting tubes are equal.
d. Tighten clamps and locknuts.
