Vehicle Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Vehicle Speed Sensor Inspection Procedure



1. Connect the OBD-II scan tool or TOYOTA hand-held tester to the DLC (OBD_II connector).
2. Start the engine and turn the OBD_II scan tool or TOYOTA hand-held tester main switch on.
3. Drive the vehicle and read vehicle speed value.

Vehicle speed should match tester value.
