Front

NOTE: Before inspecting the wheel alignment, adjust the vehicle height to the specification. If the vehicle height is not within the specification, try to adjust it by pushing down on or lifting the body.

1. Measure the vehicle height, the measurements are as follows.
- Front: A-B= 69.6 mm (2.740 inch).
- Rear: C-D= 49.6 mm (1.953 inch).

Front:

Rear:

^ The measuring points are:
- A: Ground clearance of spindle center
- B: Ground clearance of front adjusting cam bolt center
- C: Ground clearance of rear axle shaft center
- D: Ground clearance of lower control arm front bushing center

2. Install the camber-caster-kingpin gauge or onto wheel alignment tester, taking care to follow the specific instructions of the equipment manufacturer.
3. Inspect the camber, caster and the steering axis inclination.

TIRE SIZE (225/75R15)
^ Camber: -0°13' ± 45' (-0.22° ± 0.75°).
- Left-Right Error: 30' (0.5°) or less.
^ Caster: 3°22' ± 45' (3.37° ± 0.75°).
- Left-Right Error: 30' (0.5°) or less.
^ Steering Axis Inclination: 10°58' ± 45' (10°98' ± 0.75°).
- Left-Right Error: 30' (0.5°) or less.

TIRE SIZE (265/70R16)
^ Camber: -0°10' ± 45' (-0.17° ± 0.75°).
- Left-Right Error: 30' (0.5°) or less.
^ Caster: 2°38' ± 45' (2.64° ± 0.75°).
- Left-Right Error: 30' (0.5°) or less.
^ Steering Axis Inclination: 10°35' ± 45' (10°58' ± 0.75°).
- Left-Right Error: 30' (0.5°) or less.

NOTE: If the steering axis inclination is not within the specification, after the camber and caster have correctly adjusted, recheck the steering knuckle front wheel for bearing or looseness.

4. Inspect the toe-in, the toe-in (total) should be as follows.

Measuring Point Reference:

TIRE SIZE (225/75R15)
^ A+B: 0°10' ± 12' (0.16° ± 0.2°).
^ C-D: 1.6 ± 2 mm (0.06 ± 0.08 inch).

TIRE SIZE (265/70R16)
^ A+B: 0°12' ± 12' (0.20° ± 0.2°).
^ C-D: 2.0 ± 2 mm (0.07 ± 0.08 inch).

NOTE: If the toe-in is not within the specification, adjust the rack ends.

5. Inspect the wheel angle by doing the following. Turn the steering wheel fully, and measure the turning angle.

TIRE SIZE (225/75R15)
Inside Wheel: 35°23'(33°23'-36°23').
Outside Wheel(Reference): 31°22'.

TIRE SIZE (265/70R16)
Inside Wheel: 35°45'(33°45'-36°45').
Outside Wheel(Reference): 31°54'.

NOTE: If wheel angle deviates from the specifications, readjust the toe-in and wheel angle within the specifications. At this time, the lengths of the tie rod end may be within less than 1.5 mm (0.059 inch).
