Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

1. 4WD:
REMOVE ENGINE AND TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

(See engine removal in Engine Mechanical)

2. REMOVE KNOCK SENSOR
- Disconnect the knock sensor connector.
- Using SST, remove the knock sensor.
SST O9816-3OO1O

Torque: 44 N.m (450 kgf.cm, 33 ft.lbf)

INSTALLATION HINT: Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

5. 4WD:
REINSTALL ENGINE AND TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY
