TIGHTENING TORQUES

Cylinder Head
First Pass 49 Nm (36 ft. lbs.)
Second Pass 90°

Caution: If any of the cylinder head bolts do not meet the torque specification, replace the cylinder head bolt.

Camshaft Bearing Cap
Tighten To 19 Nm (14 ft. lbs.)

Camshaft Timing Gear
Tighten To 54 Nm. (40 ft. lbs.)
Tighten To 37 Nm. (27 ft. lbs.) for SST

Hint: Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 340 cm (13.39).

Intake Manifold
Tighten To 19 Nm (14 ft. lbs.)

Exhaust Manifold
Tighten To 49 Nm. (36 ft. lbs.)
