Oxygen Sensor: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT HEATER RESISTANCE OF HEATED OXYGEN SENSORS
- Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals +B and HT.

Resistance: At 20°C (68°F):
Bank 1 Sensor 1: 5 - 7 ohms
Bank 1 Sensor 2:11 - 16 ohms

- If resistance is not as specified, replace the heated oxygen sensor.
- Reconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
