Lateral Stabilizer Rod: Service and Repair






REMOVAL





1. Remove lateral control rod.
a. Remove the nut and bolt and disconnect the lateral control rod from the body.
Torque: 113 Nm (83 ft. lbs.)

HINT: At the time of installation, after stabilizing the suspension, torque the nut.





b. Remove the nut, 2 washers and lateral control rod from the axle beam.
Torque: 83 Nm (61 ft. lbs.)

HINT: At the time of installation, after stabilizing the suspension, torque the nut.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
