Front Brake Vibration

Introduction
A new Front Disc Brake Pad kit is available and a procedure has been developed for applying Disc Brake Grease to the brake cylinder mountings, brake pads, and pad support plates to reduce the possibility of front brake vibration under certain operating conditions.

* Visually inspect shims for heat discoloration. If discolored, replace the shims.
* Visually inspect pad support plates for damage. If damaged, replace the pad support plates.

This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
