Introduction

Under certain conditions, some 1998 model year Corollas may exhibit a delayed upshift to overdrive after cresting a hill with cruise control engaged To improve shift timing, the Cruise Control ECU logic has been changed.

Affected Vehicles

^ 1998 model year Corollas equipped with A245E (4 speed) Automatic Transmission, and OEM Cruise Control, manufactured before VINs shown in the Production Change Information table below.
