Introduction

Due to an internal ECU data transmission error, the Toyota Diagnostic Tester will always display -100% for the AF FT B1 S1 and the 02 FT B1 S1 when viewing the data list on 1998 RAV4 with California Emissions. Please use the SHORT FT # 1 data instead.

NOTE:
This condition has no effect on actual vehicle performance.

Affected Vehicles

^ 1998 model year RAV4 with California Emissions built before

VIN JT3*P1GV*W0181684 (plant code 0) or
VIN JT3*P10V*W7033736 (plant code 7).

1. For AF FT B1 S1 (left screen) use SHORT FT # 1 (right screen) instead.





2. For 02 FT B1 S1 (left screen) use SHORT FT # 1 (right screen) instead.
