Crankshaft Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

a. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.




b. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals.




Resistance

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the crankshaft position connector.
