REMOVAL
1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)

2. REMOVE BRAKE DRUM
3. CHECK BEARING BACKLASH AND AXLE HUB DEVIATION
4. REMOVE BOLT AND ABS SPEED SENSOR

Torque: 7.8 Nm (80 kgf-cm, 69 inch lbs.)

5. REMOVE REAR DRIVE SHAFT
6. DISASSEMBLE REAR BRAKE





7. DISCONNECT BRAKE LINE
Using SST disconnect the brake line from the wheel cylinder.
SST 09023-00100

Torque: 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.)





8. REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB WITH BACKING PLATE
a. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the parking brake cable.

Torque: 7.8 Nm (80 kgf-cm, 69 inch lbs.)

b. Remove the 4 bolts and rear axle hub.

Torque: 80 Nm (820 kgf-cm, 59 ft. lbs.)


DISASSEMBLY
REMOVE AXLE HUB FROM BEARING





a. Using Special Service Tool (SST), remove the axle hub from the bearing.
SST 09950-60010 (09951-00370), 09950-40011 (09951-04020, 09952-04010, 09953-04020, 09954-04010, 09955-04060, 09957-04010, 09958-04010)





b. Using SST, remove the inner race (outside) from the axle hub.

REASSEMBLY





INSTALL AXLE HUB TO NEW BEARING
Using SST and a press, install the axle hub to a new bearing.
SST 09527-17011, 09550-60010 (09951-00530)

HINT: Before install the bearing, place the backing plate on the axle hub.


INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
AFTER INSTALLATION, BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM AND CHECK FOR LEAKS
