ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM)




COMPONENTS

INSPECTION

1. REMOVE ECM
a. Remove the finish lower center panel.
b. Remove the 3 bolts and disconnect the ECM.
C. Disconnect the 3 (M/T and 3A/T)or 4 (4A/T) ECM connectors.
d. Disconnect the 5 connectors from connectors on bracket.
e. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (bank 1 sensor 2) connector.

2. INSPECT ECM
3. REINSTALL ECM
a. Connect the 3 (M/T and 3A/T) or 4 (4A/T) ECM connectors.
b. Connect the 5 connectors from connectors on bracket.
c. Connect the heated oxygen sensor (bank 1 sensor 2) connector.
d. Connect the ECM and install the 3 bolts.
e. Install the finish lower center panel.
