Camshaft Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
a. Remove the camshaft position sensor.




b. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals.

Resistance:
- Cold 835 - 1,400 Ohm
- Hot 1,060 - 1,645 Ohm

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.

c. Reconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.
